Music by Dario Marianalli

This book of piano music is from the music off of the newest Pride and Prejudice movie, starring Kierra Knightly and Matthew Macfadyan. There are a few amazing songs as you may know, many however are just back ground music. Most of the songs are soft, repetitive, and full of scales. Overall, they are basic and a bit boring if you want a challenge. They look easy to play, but, looks can be and are deceiving in this case. There is lots of 2 on 3′s making it an intermediate level.

My favorite songs in this book are Dawn, Georgiana, and Leaving Netherfield. These ones are probably the most performance worthy, but also likely the most difficult. I like the book, but unless you have seen the movie and absolutely love to movie, I don’t recommend the book.
